Chinese New Year

I celebrated Chinese New Year in school last Friday.As on Sunday,as it is new year's eve,I stayed up late to watch Chinese New Year television shows.It was very exciting and nice.As for Monday,I went out with my family to shop for candies,goodies and many more.I went to the temple to pray too.There were a lot of people there queuing up to go inside the temple.I was very tired after a long day walk but it was worth it.I went to see the Singapore Flyer too.It was moving very slowly.On Tuseday,my mother's friend came to our house to celebrate Chinese New Year.She gave me a red packet.It contains $20.There was one time I receive $300 for Chinese New Year!I was overjoyed then!

Our School Values

Our school values is called SPICES.It includes sincerity,passion for learning,integrity,courage,excellence and self-discipline.This month we are concentrating on sincerity.Sincerity means helping others without a need to payback.Example:If you help somebody,you cannot say that if I help you,you must pay me $2.This is not sincerity.Our school wants to train us to become a nuture-future citizens.I think it is a good opportunity for us to learn more about the things happening in Singapore.Isn't that great?Most important is that we have to concentrate on the SPICES.

What I want to concentrate after my PSLE

Of course,my height!I want to grow faster!My wish is to grow up until at least 175cm or even above.I have been thinking a lot of ways to grow taller,like climbing the door on Chinese New Year's Eve,eating all kinds of fruits and vegetable,especially bean sprout and drinking soup!And,I cannot eat too much oily and sticky food,as it will cause me to get fatter and worse of all,my menstraution will come early!And my mother told me that if my menstraution came early,I will have difficulty growing tall!Unlike my friend,her menstraution came when she was Secondary Three!Now she grew up to 172cm!!!Wow!Isn't that fantastic?My friend,Surabhi told me to drink Hotlicks,which she claimed that I will grow 2cm every two months!I do not believe that,of course!

My School

School so far...well,it is fine!There have be a lot of changes too!Our P.E T-shirt is change,the food from the canteen is changed too...and many more!This year I am in Primary Six,which I know is a really taft year.I have to prepare for my Prelim and PSLE.I hope that I can score 265 above for my PSLE results.I think my school is better this year.Now that the teachers did not yell at us and punish us for misbehaving!Instead,they explain to us why we are wrong.They also encourages us to strive for A stars for our subjects.They are so nice and kind!

My new year resolutions

My new year resolution is to get extremely good marks for my PSLE.I hope that I could score 265 marks,which is enough to go to Nanyang Girls' Secondary School,or even Raffles Girls' Secondary School!I also wish that I myself can work hard towards my goal.Same to my other fellow classmates.I really hope that all of us can go to the secondary school we all wanted.I sure know that the year ahead is going to be a very tired year,but I believe that after a year of torture,it would be alright after that.We could do anything we want after PSLE.We will be as free as birds!No matter what,I have to go to Nanyang Girls' Secondary School,so that I can prove to my parents that I am strong in my studies.
